At Fashion Week in February there was a lot of organza on the runways, predicting that it will trend Autumn/ Winter 2019/20. Especially at Fendi we saw blouses and skirts in organza. The last input for Fendi from Karl Lagerfeld featured a lot of soft sheer materials and organza.

There is something about organza that just makes an outfit look instantly classy.

Zara has an incredible selection of beautiful organza items at the moment. All at a fair price, and well made. Obviously it will not be made from real silk. It is all synthetic, but still nice. If you want the real thing then look to brands like Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana and Dries Van Noten.

About my outfit

My organza lavallière blouse is from Zara. Zara has a few colours in this style right now. I saw the purple one for street style a couple of times at the latest Fashion Week in Milan and in Paris. Under the blouse I wear a Fendi karligraphy monogram turtle neck body in beige. I saw this at the Fendi Showroom in Milan in February, and it had to be mine. It was love at first sight. It is a great buy because it is so versatile. I can wear it under blouses or just as a top with a blazer over. It also comes in black. It goes as well with formal outfits as it does with casual jeans and sneakers. It is an item from the last Karl Lagerfeld collection. The black skinny jeans are from River Island. I bought them a few years ago, and they are actually one of my favourite pairs of pants I have ever owned. They don’t start sagging after wearing them for a couple of hours. They fit my body like a glove and stay tight until I take them off. That said you would think they would be uncomfortable, but they really aren’t. They’re one of my favourite items in my wardrobe. Ankle Boots are the latest Balenciaga boots. This season the square toe shoes are making a comeback. You especially see this trend at brands like Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga and Prada. The Blazer is from Maje. I simply love this brand. It is elegant, feminine and exceptionally good quality. Most items I buy from Maje are classic pieces that can be worn in seasons to come. Earrings are from Pink Sand Fashion Jewellery, and the handbag is the Marlene 13inch from Maison Heroine. A bag that looks great and professional, but also helps so much with being organised.
