This dress from Milk Copenhagen is officially my favourite Spring dress. It really is one of the loveliest dresses I have ever owned. Maybe because it reminds me so much of my favourite dress when I was a little girl or maybe it’s the chic vintage boho- style. Or Maybe it is the little bit of luxury for less money and because it wakes up a bit of romance. Maybe it is the way it makes me feel so feminine without having to look like Elle Woods from Legally Blond threw up on me.
A dress that will suit most woman
My favourite Spring dress is an unadulterated, beautiful, well made dress. It comes in sizes S-XL . The flower pattern is delicate and petit so it would be flattering for most body types and woman of all different sizes. The material is light and flows beautifully so the dress falls naturally and perfectly. It is a friendly, happy dress that is both comfortable and practical. The perfect weekend dress for when you go shopping, go to the market or when you get invited for lunch. You know when you want to look effortlessly chic.”Oh this dress? I just threw it on!”
I was looking for this type of dress for my Spring 2018 Capsule wardrobe guide. I found 2 similar dresses at Mango but honestly those two dresses would not suit most body types. I am a big Mango fan and for many of my capsule pieces I recommended Mango so I am giving my complete honest opinion when I call this the perfect Spring dress. For 95 € you will get a gorgeous dress that you would wear again for many Springs to come. It looks great with a trench coat, a denim jacket, a leather jacket or a simple neutral cardigan. Rain boots, sneakers and this season’s creative slides compliment the dress well.
I love Milk Copenhagen. I got my first taste of this brand last year Spring. Since then I have been a fan of this brand where you pay for quality and not the name. It is an authentic brand born from passion and creativity. The company puts great value on sustainability.
MY FAVOURITE SPRING DRESS – 2 OUTFITS
A Forest Picnic or a Rainy Market Day
I styled this look with the Milk Copenhagen Trench coat. With this look I wanted to go for a trendier more relaxed look and naturally the Milk Trench fits the dress perfectly. It creates exactly the look I had in mind: the slightly oversized, relaxed look. Rather than my plain black Hunter boots I chose my Union Jack hunter boots for this look. I believe that if you are going to wear these ugly rain boots then make them interesting and wear something out of the ordinary.
The city lunch look
I style this look with my denim jacket and and some fun slides. If you are going to buy slides this season be daring and buy something different. Even if it doesn’t seem to go with everything, it will actually go with it just because it’s so fun and daring and different. Be creative with your shoes. They make an outfit so much more interesting. Don’t reason that if you are going to pay that much for a shoe or handbag it should be in black or brown! Not so ! We don’t live in the 50’s! We live in a technicolor world. Use it to your advantage.
We make an outfit our own with how we accessorise it. We all have our own style and our own tastes when it comes to accessorising. For me it is usually the pile it on look. I love wearing al lot of my Stella & Dot delicates together. I also have on my old faithful Tory Burch belt bag.
